Our Client
A globally leading engineering and construction company specializing in large-scale EPC projects for the power generation, cement, and chemical industries. The organization has extensive expertise in executing complex, multi-billion-euro industrial projects with a presence on construction sites worldwide. This role is critical to ensuring commercial excellence and project success across the company's core plant technology business.
Your Responsibilities
- •Lead commercial project execution of large-scale EPC projects with volumes up to billions of EUR in accordance with company standards and governance
- •Manage all commercial activities including contract management, claim management, risk management, payment securities, VAT/tax issues, and insurance matters
- •Ensure project targets are met regarding budget, timeline, and quality from proposal phase through end of warranty period
- •Coordinate and cooperate closely with business units, project management, engineering facilities, technical procurement, and international construction sites
- •Manage subcontractors at construction sites in collaboration with Commercial Site Managers
- •Develop and implement harmonized processes worldwide to ensure consistent best-in-class project execution
- •Establish complex contract scenarios and manage international EPC contract negotiations and execution
Your Profile
- •Minimum 10 years of professional experience negotiating and executing international EPC contracts in power generation, cement, and/or chemical industries with project volumes up to hundreds of millions of euros
- •University degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or equivalent qualification
- •Proven track record leading international teams with strong intercultural awareness and ability to leverage cultural differences
- •Expert-level knowledge of complex contract structures and international contract law
- •Ability to work under high pressure while consistently delivering results of the highest quality
- •Fluent in German and excellent English language skills; additional languages are advantageous
- •Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities with strong solution-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking
- •High degree of customer and shareholder value orientation with willingness to travel and work worldwide
